Storyboards helped us with the planning of our prelim so that it ensured that we knew roughly what we was going to do and where we would film. Also it meant that we had a hard copy of planning, along with pictures of our storyboard on our iPhones, which is how we was able to upload it to our blog. Our storyboard helped us with organisation, even though we did manage to forget some props but we over come this issue.
The Year 13 students briefly advised us by talking us through how to set up the tripod with our own personal camera, a Canon 500D. This certified a full 1080p resolution, although we only used 720p.
When we watched other examples of Prelim tasks, we saw a few errors which were mainly to do with continuity editing where the next shot wasn't filmed/placed right to make a smooth cut. This was the main problem in the majority of other peoples prelims so we planned to capture the cuts at exactly the right time to create our piece.
