These screenshots show a few ways in how we have organised ourselves with filming, editing, planning etc..
We edited and filmed our storyboard by using an iPad 2 with the app iMovie, this has enabled us to have an efficient work flow within school hours.
Here is where we keep track of email address's, usernames and passwords. All stored on the native Notes app on the iPad:
Next, we use the app iStudiez Pro, which allows us to keep track of lessons we have in school and has allowed us to plan around them.
This is the native Calendar app; from using iStudiez Pro, we have been able to plot dates, times and places where we can film, edit or complete blog posts.
Once all this is completed we are able to edit and create blog posts on our iPhone 4S's.

We chose a white T-shirt, grey camouflage combats and a pair of black high top converse for Jack to wear. The white shirt symbolises purity, which could make the audience question his lifestyle and past in many different ways. The grey combats set the army theme of the film so this can hint to the audience a little about his past life, as do the black high top converse, which represent a pair of military boots.
My costume consisted of an army themed T-shirt with dog tags, beige chinos and high top white converse. We thought we would both wear similar converse to link us together and symbolise that we are Brothers.

As you can see we use only a few props, which include drug bags, fag boxes, Rizzla boxes and finally the gun. Each prop has a symbolic meaning to show how our character is rapidly spiralling downhill in his life with heavy smoking and drug use. This will make the audience wonder why and that is our aim; to generate questions in our audiences minds to want to watch on.
We used these props to cluster around the main characters room to show that he doesn't care about life anymore and his room represents his mind, messy and jumbled up. The gun shows that he has no connection with life anymore and it symbolises his military ways of life because clearly he would've been operating guns all day. Having the gun as a main prop at the start of the film also foreshadows an bad upcoming event that will happen later on in the film. Also, the gun shows Jack's violent mind and represents his personality through this single prop. I think it's clever how we've used our fag boxes as props because it shows the break down of his life.
You can see how we've used our props in our Test Edit post..

We decided that we would film our thriller in three main areas. Firstly, we would begin inside a house as our main character wakes up, then he moves into a park, by a road and finally our main location Bedfords Park. As you can see, here is a few locational shots on site as we're filming:
Inside the house:
The house was a perfect start for our thriller because it establishes our main characters home and how it has changed since the death of his brother (our props show this).

Inside the park:
We chose to have our main character walking and sprinting through the park because it is symbolic of his freedom after coming home from his military base in Iraq, also it establishes the area where he lives to make it clear to the audience later on in the film.
By the road:
We had an idea in our heads what the road scene would be like but when it came to filming, we had some issues. We wanted our main character (Jack) to walk straight across the road with cars just missing him, but of course that causes serious health and safety risks. We thought this would give the effect that he doesn't care about life and he has only one thing on his mind. Revenge.
Bedfords Park:
Bedfords Park was a good place to film in our eyes because it shows how lonely and isolated our main character is, but juxtaposing this with the theme of freedom because he is now free do do whatever he wants.
The view from Bedfords hill:
(Canary Walf)
These scenery shots foreshadow an event that will happen in the city, which is emphasised by the over the shoulder shot of Jack looking out towards the city holding his gun.

We have finally announced the title to our film.
This teaser poster was made on Adobe Photoshop, constructed from several images. The idea behind it is a vision we had of the main characters "happy place." He goes there to reflect on past times he had there with his deceased brother. The gun was added to show the hostility of the characters mental situation, in contrast with the beautiful backdrop in which he is placed. This, along with further hints in the opening sequence itself, is an insight showing there may be some good to come. Along with the images and colours, we have finally announced the title of our movie "Brotherhood". The way the text is placed is very much intended, with "Brother" being very tightly placed together to show how close the character was with his brother, then "Hood" is spaced apart, and slowing fading away. We done this to show they've now been broken apart, and that the characters mind is slowly spreading, his mental state is degrading. We intend to remake this post later on, as this is only an initial idea.

We have created Twitter and YouTube accounts; Facebook Fan pages; custom email addresses and Prezi accounts. All enabling us to be at the peak of social awareness, posting on Twitter and Facebook regularly, keeping our fans and peers in the know about our movie. This has been a great way of gain feedback from friends and family too, one person said "I think everything you've done so far is incredible, I love the custom blog and short videos you've made. Although, I think you should add some variety to how your blogs are posted, perhaps do some Powerpoints or Prezi's." Another person said "Your storyboard looks fantastic, I can't wait to see the finished product!" This among other feedback has been essential to our success so far, we hope to continue on with requesting feedback from our peers.

Samuel's chosen movie influence:

Synopsis - iMDb
Shrooms is a psychological thriller about 3 couples that go to the Ireland woods to collect magic mushrooms and trip out. On their way they meet some strange inhabitants of the woods and it doesn't take long until a creepy story is being told at the campfire which might be more than just a story. So strange things happen, people start disappearing, silhouettes move through the woods and the creepy story starts to melt into reality. The horror kicks in along with the effect of the mushrooms.
This film fits perfectly with what my idea of our film could be because I think we can pick out parts from different films to create a brilliant final piece. The psychological factor of this film is brilliant and I thought that we could use some editing techniques from this film when the characters are on drugs. It has influenced me highly and I think this is my main film that we can pick ideas from. Also, the poster has influenced me because of the text used and how it has been edited.
Analysis:
This poster is very clever with the images that have been used to create a skull, which brings out the themes of death. The two mushrooms symbolise the shrooms taken in the film, whilst the silhouette of the smaller shroom represents the 'death head', which can kill you. The moon is surrounded by sharp looking bushes to also add to the theme of danger and freedom because some characters might feel trapped. The darkness of the poster introduces the horror side of this thriller and the colours convey traditional values by using red, white and black. The text resembles the moon in the background and is distorted like some of the characters; the blurred, fuzzy text represents the effects of the drug when the characters have double vision. Clever word play is used with the release date by using the phrase 'trippin out', this usually associates with drugs because people 'trip' on them. This poster relies on quotes from newspapers to encourage the target audience to see this film. The main characters names (Lindsey Haun and Jack Huston) are also on there to gain more of an audience because they have starred in many other films.

I have chose to use 'Brothers' as an inspiration to our opening sequence. In summary before leaving on his second tour in Afghanistan, Marine Captain Sam Cahill (Tobey Maquire), a leader, an athlete, a good husband and father, welcomes his screw-up brother Tommy (Jake Gyllenhaal) home from prison. He'd robbed a bank. In country, Sam's helicopter is shot down and all are presumed dead. Back home, while Sam wastes away as a prisoner in a remote encampment, Tommy tries to take care of the widow (Natalie Portman) and her two children. While imprisoned, Sam experiences horrors unbearable, so when he's rescued and returns home, he's silent, detached, without affect, and he's convinced his wife and brother have slept together.
Sam suffers from intense psychological problems when he arrives home, this idea of Sam going to war and seeing some terrifying things is incredibly attractive for the opening for a thriller. It heavily influenced my idea of a soldier going into war and bearing witness to his brothers death. Mentally scared, the soldier is sent home; where he has left one war to go into battle with himself. We see the break down of a human. This will influence our opening sequence, as we wish to base story around the phychological aspects, where the main characters brother is killed in action, causing immense mental issues.

We encountered many health and safety risks, which we had to overcome and avoid. Our first set of footage was based inside the house and everything was fine for us to proceed.
1. After leaving the house we had to ensure that filming any running shots had to been done with extreme care because our main character could trip on any logs, sticks or bushes. We checked the area and it was ok for us to continue. Along with our main characters falling hazards, Samuel, who was filming had to ride a bike whilst filming to catch the perfect shot. We overcome any crashing hazard by also checking the area and taking slow precautions when riding.
2. A high angle walking shot was took in the park which caused a health and safety risk because Samuel had to extend the legs of the tripod and hold it above his head to gain this shot. He could of dropped this and broke our expensive equipment, plus hurt himself. So we decided to walk slower to gain more control over the camera.
3. By the road our main risk was getting run over. As Jack approached the road as we were filming, he simply just stopped and waited for a large gap to walk across the road to make it safe to cross. We couldn't press the pedestrian button because it wouldn't of set the scene for our setting because the traffic lights can be seen. Also, filming this high angle shot was hard, due to there not being anywhere to place the camera but luckily we found a place but it was windy. This once again created the problem of damaging the equipment, so Samuel had to hold it in place for it not to fall.
4. Next, we started to film over Bedfords Park and it had began to rain causing us the problem of all our electrical equipment getting wet. Luckily, Jack had the idea of cello-taping a Pirates of the Caribbean umbrella to the tripod, which surprisingly protected the camera perfectly. We had to change camera lens' with extreme care also.
5. Our main health and safety risk was taking a replica metal gun into the public whilst filming. Fortunately, we had no problems with having it out as we were filming but we would of said it was purely for media purposes.
